A warm shower is recommended before your massage. It is relaxing and washes off salts and minerals that could clog pores when mixed with massage oils.

Before your massage begins, tell your therapist which areas you would like to focus on, and any areas to be avoided. During the massage, let your therapist know if you feel any discomfort.

Close your eyes and allow your mind and body to be quiet. Focus on how you feel. Breathe deeply and let tension slip away with each breath. Remember this time is for you.
